Templates

This will be where templates and other CareerTech Branding related resources will be housed. You will find prototypes of the first web-accessible templates, and elements comprising the framework for a major CareerTech Branding initiative.
Solution One (Static Pages)
1. Download the Blank Site-Map PDF
and organize and plan out the areas of your up and coming site. Once
you have your site areas efficiently organized, using meaningful labels
for the various sections and content pages, you may procede to step two.
2. If you know you will only have a small website (1-5
pages) and it will not have to be updated often -- this solution is for
you. Download the newest static CareerTech Standard Template ZIP.
Extract the zip on your computer, open the html pages in the editor of
your choice and start copying and pasting your content. View the
Frequently Asked Questions (coming soon) for extra aid in developing
your static html pages.
3. Save files and test in browser.
Solution Two (Content Management System)
1. Download the Blank Site-Map PDF and organize and plan out the areas of your up and coming site. Once you have your site areas efficiently organized, using meaningful labels for the various sections and content pages, you may procede to step two.
2. If you know you will need to update information on your site often and manage several pages; desire a simple way to edit, publish, and maintain your site; and need your site to meet accessibility requirements -- this is the solution for you. Request a test content management site be created. You will be provided with a link to your site and a login. The site will already have the CareerTech Standard Branding on it and will be ready for you to simply add your content. Login to the site and start adding your content.
