QuickTime for Windows

Document Actions
Below, we have recorded a series of steps to help you download and install the QuickTime player on your Windows computer.

Step 1

Click here to open the QuickTime download page in a new window.

Step 2

On the download page, follow the left column downwards, filling out the optional personal information if you choose. Click the "Download QuickTime" button.

Step 3

If you are presented with a window like this, click the "Yes" button on it. Proceed to Step 6.

If not, proceed to Step 4.

Step 4

You should be presented with a save window where you should save the installer to a place where you can get to it (like your Desktop). If you were not presented with this window, you either clicked "No" in Step 3 or something just didn't work right. Regardless, a manual download link is provided on the page in the event the download does not start automatically.

Step 5

Locate the installer you just saved and double-click it. This will launch the installer and begin the installation process.

Step 6

The QuickTime installer will guide you through a standard series of steps to install the software on your computer. Once completed, you will be able to view MPEG-4 streamed content on the CTLN identified by the QuickTime logo.
